Liquid Thinking: how fluid is your approach to the workspace?

The exponential growth in technology over the last few years has forced businesses to rethink everything. When we can be connected anywhere at anytime and companies can go from startup to multi-million pound enterprises in a matter of a few years, you have to ask yourself : is there any room for old ways of thinking?

Anyone running a business in one of the ‘knowledge’ sectors will be forced to take a more fluid approach to how they design their workspaces to attract the best people. Which is something we spend a lot of our time at Connection thinking about – workplace design that reflects the changing ways in which we work, now and in the not too distant future.

Example of a Liquid Wordspace

‘Liquid Thinking’ is our approach and it is about putting the requirements of the people who will be working in the space first and then designing furniture and spaces around those requirements.

Flexible spaces, productive people.

Our mantra is ‘flexible spaces, productive people’ and in the coming weeks and months you will see that mantra reflected within this blog, a channel for our liquid thinking approach.

And going forward, we hope to share inspirational insights – both homegrown and from industry experts – on exemplary workspaces and how you can apply liquid thinking to your own schemes.
