Serennu is a unique NHS centre in Newport, established as centralised appointment centre for children with disabilities.

Stills, a design agency in Cardiff, project managed the concept, developing a "space and stars" theme. The colour scheme was aimed at moving away from the traditional clinical feel of a hospital. Connection's products, Hive, Horizon, One and Ice were specified throughout the centre.

Hive and Horizon were used to provide boundaries and clearly defined personal spaces. The modular nature of the furniture allowed public waiting spaces to be broken for differing groups of people within one environment.
