It is no longer enough to simply reduce and recycle
to protect the environment. What is needed is sustainability i.e.
meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability
of future generations to meet their needs.
We at Connection™ are
approaching the issue of sustainability by designing products based
on a ‘life cycle assessment’ where the product’s
materials, manufacture, transport, use and disposal are incorporated
into the chair’s life cycle cost.
